On May 25, 2024, the Baoshan Pan Asia International Commercial Mediation Center in Shanghai released the first list of mediators (Chinese nationality). Guo Jinhui from the Beijing headquarters of Gaopeng Law Firm and five lawyers from the Shanghai office, Xie Xiangyang, Li Min, Lu Jiefeng, and Zou Zhiqing, were successfully selected as the first batch of mediators for the Baoshan Pan Asia International Commercial Mediation Center in Shanghai. The Baoshan Pan Asia International Commercial Mediation Center in Shanghai was established on March 22, 2024. It is one of the first social organizations in Shanghai to engage in international commercial dispute mediation and other social service activities, initiated by a legal technology company, registered and managed by judicial administrative agencies, and government civil affairs departments. It is committed to building a team of commercial mediators who are familiar with commercial mediation laws and deeply understand commercial mediation culture, to resolve commercial disputes in a friendly manner, maintain fairness and justice, and enhance social harmony and optimize the business environment. The first roster of mediators (Chinese nationality) announced to the public was officially put into use on May 25, 2024. A total of 262 mediators were appointed, including legal service workers such as lawyers, experts and scholars such as law professors, and industry elites in corporate legal affairs. Their main business areas cover commercial activities such as trade, investment, finance, transportation, securities, insurance, real estate, intellectual property, technology transfer, and engineering construction.
