On the morning of January 17,2018,a seminar on the documentary"Great Power Arbitration"jointly organized by the Arbitration Research Institute of China University of Political Science and Law and the CCTV Channel"Society and Law"was held at the Xueyuan Road Campus of China University of Political Science and Law.Jia Dongming,Director of the Civil Law Section of the Legal Working Committee of the National People's Congress,Zhao Zhenhua,Director of the Government Legal Coordination Department of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council,Liu Guixiang,a full-time member of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People's Court,Professor Huang Jin,President of the China University of Political Science and Law,Chairman of the Arbitration Institute,Professor Du Xinli,President of the Arbitration Institute,Wang Guangling,Director of the Social and Law Channel of CCTV,and China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission,China Maritime Arbitration Commission Wuhan Arbitration Commission,Xi'an Arbitration Commission,Shijiazhuang Arbitration Commission,Harbin Arbitration Commission,Shenzhen International Arbitration Court(Shenzhen Arbitration Commission),Hainan Arbitration Commission,China ASEAN Legal Cooperation Center,Qingdao Arbitration Commission,Dalian Arbitration Commission,Inner Mongolia Banking Association,Singapore International Arbitration Center,China Railway Group Leaders from relevant units such as the Beijing Lawyers Association and representatives from relevant fields such as scholars and professional lawyers from the China University of Political Science and Law attended the meeting.Lawyer Zhang Zheng,Vice President of the Beijing Lawyers Association and Senior Partner of Beijing Gaopeng Law Firm,attended the meeting and discussed relevant experiences from the perspective of practicing lawyers and arbitrators'practical operations.He proposed that the filming and broadcasting of documentary films should enable lawyers to better understand arbitration,so as to further promote arbitration and use arbitration.

This meeting confirmed the content of the documentary diversity,reported on the current shooting progress,conducted a public solicitation of material again,and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions with experts and scholars from the arbitration theoretical and practical fields on the difficulties encountered during the shooting process,as well as the practical and theoretical issues involved in the arbitration profession.The meeting was successfully concluded in a warm atmosphere,laying a solid foundation for further filming of the documentary,the collection and organization of materials,and the resolution of professional issues.
