Recently, a theft case represented by senior partners Dong Xiaohua and Feng Wei of Gaopeng Law Firm was successfully defended, arrested and released on bail pending trial. Eventually, they were not charged and were acquitted.

The party involved in this case, Zhang, has been criminally detained by a public security bureau in Beijing on suspicion of multiple thefts. Afterwards, the family members of the parties consulted and established a delegation relationship with lawyers Dong Xiaohua and Feng Wei.

After multiple communications, the handling prosecutor adopted the lawyer's defense opinion and released Zhang on bail pending trial, and made a decision not to prosecute two months later. Thus, the case has been successfully concluded without charge.
