A delegation of teachers and students from the On-the-Job Master of Law Program at the Law School of Taiwan Political University visited Gaopeng (Shanghai) Law Firm

On the afternoon of August 8,2019,a team led by Dr.Yan Yuming,the General Affairs Officer and Associate Professor of the Department of Law of the Taiwan Political University Law School,visited Gaopeng(Shanghai)Law Firm.Lawyer Xie Xiangyang,Director of Gaopeng(Shanghai)Law Firm,Senior Partners Chen Wenwei,Shen Min,and Partners Hong Meng,Cai Shiming,and Zheng Xiaoxiao warmly received teachers and students from the Law School of Taiwan Political University,and the two sides also held warm discussions and exchanges.

The symposium was chaired by our lawyer Cai Shiming,who first introduced the basic situation of Taiwanese enterprises in Shanghai and the specific methods for protecting Taiwanese nationals locally in Shanghai.Later,Hong Meng shared the business opportunities of Taiwan lawyers'participation in the mainland's"the Belt and Road"with the Taiwanese teachers and students present.Lawyer Chen Wenwei focused on the evolution and current situation of the legal service needs of Japanese enterprises in the mainland.Lawyer Zheng Xiaoxiao shared and exchanged opportunities for financial regulatory reform in the mainland and financial institutions across the Straits from the perspective of financial laws across the Straits.


After the meeting,Director Xie Xiangyang and Dr.Yan Yuming exchanged gifts.Both sides highly affirmed the form and content of this exchange forum,and hope to enhance their communication and interaction through activities with more diverse forms and richer content in the future.
