President Zhou Qiang of the Supreme People's Court proposed that"in accordance with the principles of guiding adjudication,promoting the rule of law,promoting harmony,and leading progress,timely compile and publish cases with fair judgments,good results,and universal guiding value."In response to administrative law enforcement activities in the field of expropriation and demolition,on August 29,2014,the Supreme People's Court held a press conference and announced for the first time the"Top Ten Cases of Expropriation and Demolition"of national courts.

There are 8"typical cases of expropriation and demolition"in this batch,involving administrative matters such as rural land acquisition and urban housing acquisition,and covering typical disputes related to expropriation decisions,resettlement compensation,and forced demolition implementation in expropriation and demolition."The case of Lu Moumou suing Jichuan Sub district Office of Taixing City People's Government of Jiangsu Province for compulsory demolition",represented by lawyer Wang Yu,member of the Administrative Committee of Gaopeng(Yangzhou)Institute and director of the Litigation Department,was selected as a typical case.
