The Second Digital Intelligence Rule of Law Forum, co organized by Gaopeng Law Firm, was successfully held in Beijing
On November 30, 2024, the Second Digital Intelligence Rule of Law Forum, guided by the Information Center of the Supreme People's Court and hosted by the China Judicial Big Data Research Institute, was grandly held in Beijing. As one of the co organizers of this forum, Gaopeng Law Firm actively participated, and our senior partner, Lawyer Sun Meiyan, attended the event on site and participated throughout the process.

This forum is part of the 7th China Law Research Cup Judicial Artificial Intelligence Challenge (LAIC2024) series of activities, with the theme of "Building a new ecosystem of digital governance to help strengthen the foundation of the rule of law in China". The forum aims to gather wisdom from all parties, deeply explore the integration path, practical experience, and future development direction of digital technology and social governance. Starting from the national strategic level, we will thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on using big data to enhance the modernization level of national governance, explore how the application of digital intelligence technology in grassroots rule of law governance can meet the strategic needs of modernizing the national governance system and governance capacity, provide strong support for achieving scientific government decision-making, precise social governance, and efficient public services, and promote the important role of grassroots rule of law governance in the national governance system.
Currently, with the deep development of digitization, the data foundation of society continues to strengthen, driving the rapid development of digital intelligence technology represented by big models. The use of big data for low-cost, fast, and accurate problem discovery in grassroots social governance, as well as the use of intelligent technology to analyze and assist in solving problems, has become a new hot spot in solving current grassroots conflicts, exploring new experiences and models of Fengqiao in the new era, and promoting the modernization of grassroots governance capabilities.
In the first half of the forum, the theme of "Social Governance Risks and Responses" was analyzed in depth. The roundtable forum focused on the pain points and difficulties in dispute resolution and public legal services in grassroots social governance work, and shared experiences and prospects for digital empowerment based on practice; In the second half, the theme of "Digital Governance Technology and Application" was discussed, and the corresponding roundtable forum focused on "Digital Intelligence Technology in the Digital Age to Support Grassroots Governance Innovation and Application", looking forward to future technological development and the construction of a social governance technology ecosystem. At the same time, in-depth discussions were held on the combination of subsequent industries and practices. In addition, a launch ceremony for the "Judicial Convenience Platform 2.0 Version" of the China Judicial Big Data Research Institute was held during the forum, providing further support for promoting judicial convenience services.
