In Hong Kong dramas, the courts are often brightly colored, with legal elites dressed in robes making grand appearances at critical moments, engaging in intense verbal battles in court, defending truth and fairness, and ultimately waiting for the arrival of justice. When Chen Wenying was young, she saw the heroic appearance of female lawyers on the screen and was attracted by their freedom, independence, and wisdom displayed. Regarding why I chose to become a lawyer, Lawyer Chen said, "Actually, my first choice for undergraduate studies was not law, but by chance, I chose this major for both my undergraduate and graduate studies. I think this is also a fate between me and this profession. Actually, when I was very young, I loved watching Hong Kong TVB's legal dramas and often imagined myself becoming the eloquent female lawyer in the dramas

After graduating from graduate school as a lawyer, Chen Wenying successfully embarked on the path of becoming a lawyer. However, in order to better understand the capital market business, she entered the front line of enterprises and became a legal professional. Looking back at the path I have taken, she sighed, "It is precisely because of my exposure to the capital market that I believe lawyers need to have a deep understanding of business operations in order to better understand the business logic of enterprises and control risks and resolve disputes for them. Therefore, I transformed into corporate legal. Although corporate legal is also a good career choice in the legal community, as mentioned above, life should not be easily limited. Often, the experience of switching tracks is the charm of this profession and life


When it comes to working women, Lawyer Chen Wenying said, "I would like to recommend the book 'LEAN IN' written by former Facebook Chief Operating Officer Cheryl Sandberg to female friends. This book has had a profound impact on me. She mentioned in the book that women should take a step forward in the workplace and boldly 'sit at the table'. I think objectively, this society has higher requirements for women than men. Women are naturally labeled as needing more care for their families and children, which inevitably leads to discrimination in the workplace and disadvantages in career advancement paths. I hope that through this book, more women can reflect on what they truly pursue in their hearts, break through some biases in the workplace, and take a more confident step forward Women can only unleash their potential by taking a step forward and bravely 'LEAN IN'. Self denial or self imposed limitations have caused many people to stop at the door of success, which is more evident in the female world. This should not be the appearance of modern women.
