On the morning of August 11, 2017, the "64th Commercial Arbitration Practice Training for Lawyers Applying for Lawyers in Beijing - Simulated Arbitration Tribunal" event, organized by the Beijing Arbitration Commission, the Beijing Lawyers Association, and the School of Continuing Education of the China University of Political Science and Law, was successfully held in the Beijing Arbitration International Conference Hall. More than 150 interns from Beijing participated in the event.

This simulated arbitration activity is based on a case of an actor brokerage contract dispute that was actually heard and adjudicated by Beijing Arbitration Commission. The director of the arbitration commission appointed Mr. Zhang Zheng, a senior partner of Beijing Gaopeng Law Firm, as the chief arbitrator, together with Ms. Sun Hui, the director of the legal affairs department of Beijing Radio and Television Station (formerly Vice President of Changping Court), the arbitrator selected by the applicant, and a professor of Peking University Law School Mr. Yang Ming, doctoral supervisor, jointly formed an arbitration tribunal to conduct the hearing.

After the completion of the mock arbitration trial, the three arbitrators who formed the court provided a review and guidance on the trial of the current mock arbitration tribunal and the performance of the agents of both parties. In addition, Ms. Jiang Qiuju, Director of the Second Business Division of the Beijing Arbitration Commission, as a special commentator, made a general comment on the entire event.

The simulation arbitration tribunal training activity had a warm atmosphere and received unanimous praise from the vast number of students on site.
