On October 29, 2009, the "First Hongqiao Legal Service Forum" jointly sponsored by the Shanghai Lawyers Association and the Changning District Justice Bureau was successfully held in Changning District, Shanghai. Zhou Tianlin, partner of Gaopeng Shanghai Branch, was invited to attend the meeting. The promulgation of the "Hongqiao Business District" plan provides an opportunity for the next round of leapfrog development of the Hongqiao region and even the entire Shanghai International Trade Center, as well as a rare development opportunity for the lawyer industry.
The first "Cross Strait and Four Cities Intercity Legal Service Seminar" was held in Shanghai on October 31. Lawyers from Taipei, Hong Kong, and Macao, China, conducted in-depth exchanges and extensive discussions with lawyers from Shanghai on relevant topics. Xie Xiangyang and Zhou Tianlin, partners of Gaopeng Shanghai Branch, were invited to attend the meeting.
