Lawyer Qiu stated that he will actively play the role of a think tank expert in the future, continue to deepen the professional research and practical work of ecological environment damage law, and promote the role of judicial appraisal of ecological environment damage in environmental case handling.

The Environmental Damage Judicial Appraisal Institute of Sichuan Zhonghuan Lianshu Environmental Consulting Service Co., Ltd. was established in January 2020 with the approval of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Justice. It is one of the first institutions in Sichuan Province to be recognized by administrative authorities and specialized in environmental damage judicial appraisal. At present, the practice categories of the appraisal institute cover five major categories and 34 subcategories: pollutant property appraisal, surface water and sediment environmental damage appraisal, air pollution environmental damage appraisal, soil and groundwater environmental damage appraisal, and ecosystem environmental damage appraisal. There are a total of 42 practicing judicial appraisers.

In September 2023, the Xizang Snow Region Ecological Environment Damage Judicial Expertise Institute initiated by Central Union Shu successfully passed the review of the Xizang Autonomous Region Department of Justice, and officially obtained the judicial expertise license of the People's Republic of China. At the same time, nine judicial experts were granted the practicing license of judicial experts.
