On November 16,the 7th BRICS International Competition Conference was opened,which was an important measure to implement the"Declaration of the 13th BRICS Leaders'Meeting in New Delhi".It was co sponsored by the competition agencies of the five BRICS countries,hosted by the General Administration of Market Supervision and the People's Government of Sichuan Province,and co sponsored by the People's Government of Chengdu.The theme of this conference is"openness,competition,and development",with two venues in Beijing and Chengdu,both online and offline.Lawyer Jiang Liyong,Senior Partner of Gaopeng Law Firm,was invited to attend the conference as a representative of Chinese lawyers.

The BRICS International Competition Conference is an important practical event within the framework of the BRICS Leaders'Meeting.It has been held in rotation in BRICS countries every two years since 2009,and has been held for six consecutive sessions.It is an important exchange activity among BRICS anti monopoly law enforcement agencies,international organizations,anti monopoly lawyers,experts and scholars.This is the second time in a decade that the BRICS International Competition Conference has been held in China.It is also an important home event of the State Administration of Market Supervision in the field of international competition after the reform of the market supervision system.
