On the afternoon of May 12,the Third Representative Conference of the China Association for the Promotion of Democracy in Huangpu District,Shanghai was held.Huang Zhen,Vice Chairman of the Central Committee for the Democratic Progressive Movement,Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference,and Chief Committee Member of the Shanghai Municipal Committee for the Democratic Progressive Movement,and Gao Yun,Secretary of the Huangpu District Committee of the Communist Party of China,attended the opening meeting and delivered a speech.Zhang Chen,Deputy Chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Democratic Progressive Movement,Member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress,and Deputy Director of the Education,Science,Culture,and Health Committee,He Shaohua,Full-time Deputy Chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Democratic Progressive Movement,Shen Quan,Member of the Standing Committee of the Huangpu District Committee of the Communist Party of China,and Director of the United Front Work Department,Jiang Biyan,Secretary General of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Democratic Progressive Movement,and Director of the Organization Department,Cheng Xiaoyu,Member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Democratic Progressive Movement.

The meeting reviewed and adopted the"Report on the Work of the Second Committee of the Shanghai Huangpu District of the China Association for the Promotion of Democracy"made by Yang Yan on behalf of the Second Committee of the People's Democratic Movement in Huangpu District.The third committee for the Democratic Progressive Huangpu District was elected,and our partner,lawyer Mi Xiaoting,was elected as a member of the new committee for the Democratic Progressive Huangpu District.
