The 2nd Yangtze River Delta Forum on Competition Law&the International Seminar on the Modernization of Antimonopoly Law was held in Hangzhou on October 18,2018.The event was co-hosted by the Competition Law Research Society of the Zhejiang Law Society,the Competition Law Research Society of the Shanghai Law Society,the Economic Law Research Society of the Anhui Law Society and the Economic Law Research Society of the Jiangsu Law Society,and undertaken by the Research Center on Competition Law and Politics of Zhejiang Sci-tech University.Lawyer Gao Liang from Gaopeng&Partners was invited to attend and deliver a featured speech at the event.

Over 100 participants were present at the meeting,including academic experts from Beijing,Shanghai,Hong Kong,Macau,Taiwan,Singapore,Zhejiang,Hunan,Hubei,Anhui,Jiangsu,Jiangxi,Guangdong and other areas,administrative law enforcement officials on antimonopoly,judges of the Intellectual Property Tribunal of the Supreme People’s Court,lawyers,representatives of enterprises such as JD.com and Tencent,such as Huang Yong,Xu Shiying,Wang Xiaoye,Shi Jianzhong,Wen Xueguo,Wang Jian,Wang Xianlin,Li Jian,Lin Ping,Zheng Jianhan,Liu Kongzhong,Sheng Jiemin,Wang Yanfang,Wang Chuanhui,Ye Weiping,Liu Jin,Li Shengli,Li Yougen,Hu Xiaohong,Lin Hang,Ji Shuzhong and Yin Yadong.The seminar touched upon such specific topics as the modernization of cartel regulation,the modernization of the misuse of market dominant position,the modernization of regulation of undertakings concentration,and the modernization of the implementation of antimonopoly law.

Lawyer Gao Liang made a speech entitled Substantive Analysis on the Affirmation of RPM(Resale Price Maintenance),substantively analyzing the determination of RPM from the perspectives of typical cases and the comparison of foreign laws.
